with innovative Upper Limb Prostheses from XXX
We offer you sophisticated concepts in the segment of arm prosthetics, which assure best functionality and greater independence during daily life.
What is an Upper Limb Prosthesis?
An upper limb prosthesis replaces an absent upper limb in case of congenital disorder (e.g. Dysmelia) or an amputated limb, for example after an accident or because of disease. We are aware that each of our lives are different and as such so are the demands on your prosthesis. Our specialists at XXX provide individual fitting solutions designed to meet your personal requirements with your prosthesis.
Individual fittings of our upper limb prostheses for different amputation levels
Our services include fittings of our prostheses for different amputation levels depending on the length of your residuum (stump). In response to this individual condition, the arm prosthesis consists of various modular components (elbow joint, hand)
The success of a fitting is dependent on a variety of factors and requires a holistic approach. At XXX we offer you integrated and personal support within the rehabilitation team. Our technical expertise not only covers a wide knowledge of products and material, but also includes the individual adaptation of your device to optimise the functional outcome.
For your personal treatment process, you can rely on our holistic treatment circle. It starts with a personal consulation and torough examination by our experts, but also embraces topics such as your therapy and continuing care. Aesthetics and comfort of our upper limb prostheses
In addition to functionality, the aesthetics and comfort of your arm prosthesis are extremely important to us. Not only should your device appear natural, it should also help you achieve the most harmonious and precise movements possible. For example, you can use a foam cosmetic cover to complement your upper limb prosthetic fittings following amputations in the hand region. These are individually fabricated using your sound limb as a model.
XXX has been an International Silicon Partner with Dorset Orthopaedic for more than one and a half decades. Dorset's lower limb silicon cosmeses are available for all levels of amputation.
Each of the bespoke prostheses is custom made, sculpted by hand to mirror the characteristics of your sound limb.
